Scientific Method Project

Hypothesis- We think that more vehicles from Ford will show up at the McDonald's at Verity because there is a Ford dealership 5 minutes away.

Prediction- If their are Ford vehicles bought at the dealership, then it will be more likely for the consumer to go through the McDonald's on Verity.

Materials & Methods- To test the hypothesis, we will count the different kinds of vehicles that travel through the drive through between 12:00-1:30

Results-

Discussion- The significance of the experiment shows the amount of different types of cars going through the McDonald's drive through. This data would be important to help decide which dealer should advertise here, ad given that Chrysler only had 6/160 cars counted, they might benefit most from advertising by introducing their cars where those types are not common. This data might be different in different cities. Other cars are more popular in different cities, which may lead to different results. Sports or other daily activities might draw different types of cars at different parts of the day as well.
